To celebrate my boyfriend's 30th birthday we spent the weekend in beautiful Banff. It was a weekend full of amazing food, shopping and snowboarding. I found a few adorable little Canadian shops including a tea shop called David's Tea, a small shop filled with brightly coloured tea canisters, prettily packaged teas and dainty tea sets. And Beavertail Pastry, a shop that sells giant churros, shaped like the tail of a beaver, topped with your choice of candy, fruit and chocolate or caramel sauce. Yummy.

you went to banff in the most beautiful time of the year. i think there are 2 times to go there (during january-february with the height of winter and during july/august - summertime with the lakes all around.).
